Padar Island is the third largest island in the Komodo National Park area, after Komodo Island and Rinca Island. Maybe the existence of Padar Island is not as famous as Komodo Island or Rinca Island, but the beauty of Padar Island is no less beautiful than the two islands. The location of Padar Island tends to be closer to Rinca Island compared to the distance to Komodo Island and is separated by the Leech Strait.

Padar Island is also accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, because it is within the territory of the Komodo National Park, along with Komodo Island, Rinca Island and Gili Motang. Although it is located within the Komodo National Park, Padar Island is not inhabited by dragons due to a broken food chain.

Around this island there are also three or four smaller islands that have their own unique panorama. And on Padar Island there is also a stretch of pink beach which is perfect for just swimming, playing water or snorkeling.

Visitors can also climb the hill on Padar Island to enjoy the panoramic beauty from above. Blue sea and the surrounding islands will hypnotize visitors. Although trekking to the highest hill will feel very tiring, but visitors will be presented with a panoramic view of the hills and a very beautiful scenery and capture the moment will be an activity that no bored during trekking trips.
