Mikumba II Phinisi has a fully functioning transom swim/dive platform which again is unique to this vessel within the Phinisi builds. The interior and cabins have all been refurbished and altered to increase the comfort and space onboard. The creative use of bamboo rattan teak and traditional fabrics creates a stylish and an exotic ambience. The ships galley has also been completely transformed into a fully functioning catering area capable of delivering the highest level of onboard cuisine and that befits a vessel much larger than Mikumba II.

<div style="font-size: 12px;">Day 1: Bali - Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island –  Kalong Island (L-D) Morning flight from Bali to Labuan Bajo Flores Island. Our tour guide will welcome you at Labuan Bajo airport and take you by car to the harbor where you will ride a local tourist boat to RINCA ISLAND. The trip will take approximately two hours. At arrival in Rinca Island you will first go to the KOMODO NATIONAL PARK office for the entrance ticket and other necessary arrangements. Then  a ranger will guide you for a 5 km walk back and forth through different routes for 2,5 hours to see from a close the vanarnus komodoensis and other wild animals in the area. Afterwards you will go back to the boat for lunch then continue your trip to Kalong Island for the night and where dinner will be also served. Day 2: Kalong - Komodo Island - Pink Beach - Labuan Bajo (B-L). After breakfast at the boat you will immidietly leave for Loh Liang for ticket control and begin another 2,5 hours track in the area to see "KOMODO DRAGON" and other wild animals such as wild pigs and deers. After the tracking continue your trip to the PINK BEACH for snorkeling. If you are lucky you would able to see a great variety of fishes at the sea surface or even swim along with them. Luch will be served at the boat. After swimming you will leave for Labuan Bajo to stay for the night at a local hotel. (Recommended overnight at Hotel).

<div style="font-size: 12px;">Day 1 LABUANBAJO – RINCA– KALONG ISLAND (L/D) As you arrive on the boat, you will be welcomed by the staff  and serving you the welcome drink. Then boat  will heading to Rinca Island that will take approximately 3 hours to get there. Once arrive, everyone will go off the boat and heading to ranger station. The trekking to see the komodo dragon will start from there with the ranger on the island. You may adjust your time on the trekking with the ranger as you need. Once finished, go back to boat and sail to Kalong island. Kalong island is a small  island consist of mangrove forest. The island becoming  the “house” of thousand bats. If you are lucky enough, you will see thousands of bats flying out from their nest looking for food . If time allow before heading to Kalong Island you can snorkeling on Kambing Island.  (Lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and overnight on boat).

After breakfast go ashore to the ranger house of Komodo Island. Have a walk and take a closer look at the Legendary Komodo Dragons on Komodo Island.  Besides dragons you can also see other animals such as deer, wild boar and birds.  Afterword snorkeling and relaxing at the world heritage site of Pink Beach (Pantai  Merah). In the afternoon sail to Manta Poitn. Manta Point (called Karang Makassar in local name) is a spot where manta rays often encountered. It is one of the popular place for diving and also snorkeling for those who love to see the manta rays, a huge marine creature that can grow up to 4 meters wide. Though they are huge in size, they are considered as the unharmed sea animal. Manta Rays are one of the extinct animal on earth which nowadays divers or marine life lovers are trying to protect them from illegal fishing practices. Although seeing manta rays can't be guaranteed, Manta Point offers excellent snorkeling experience. Reefs are laying from only 2 meters to 9 meters depth. Turtles, sharks, eagle rays, giant trevallies, huge clams, various kind of sponges, and cuttle fish are things you may see during your snorkeling. If you are lucky, you may get the experience of swimming with the mantas. KANAWA – SABOLON ISLAND – LABUAN BAJO (B/L) This morning after breakfast snorkeling at Kanawa Island which is a beautiful small island with amazing corals. Soon after snorkeling the Phinisi boat will bring you to another beautiful snorkeling around the Komodo sea at Sabolon Island. Sabolon slands is one of the best snorkeling islands in Indonesia, its located on the north part of Labuan Bajo. The islands itself  is inhabitant, no one lived on the islands but Goats. The island has small beach but the underwater is spectacular, even for diving, a lot of fishes and the coral reefs is healthy. The drop off reefs is the best part to snorkeling on this island. in the afternoon sailing back to Labuan Bajo and drop to your hotel.</div>

<div style="font-size: 12px;">DAY 1: BALI –Labuhan Bajo/Flores Flight Bali - LBJ. After a refreshing welcome drink, we set sails. Now it’s time for a short introduction to the facilities of our vessel, the diving operation and the tour program. Check-out dive: 1 SABALON or SABAYUR. 2 NIGHT DIVE Gili Lava Darat. Dinner und overnight north of Komodo.   DAY 2: NORTH KOMODO Pre-Breakfast. Morning dive: 3 CRISTAL ROCK. After “real” breakfast depart for dive nr. 4 CASTLE ROCK. The rock is packed with bronze and rust colored sponges and soft tree corals. Later in the afternoon we climb the local summit and enjoy a splendid panorama over the moon-shape islands of the Komodo Archipelago and the mainland of Flores. Afternoon dive at 5 LIGHT HOUSE in the north of Komodo. 6 NIGHT DIVE Gili Lava Passage.   DAY 3: KOMODO – PINK BEACH Morning dive: 7 CURRENT CITY (Batu Bolong). 11 o’clock dive: 8 TATAWA. Thousands of fish of every colour and shape are here including regal angelfish, checkerboard wrasse and masked unicorn fish, against a beautiful backdrop of acripora corals, gorgonian fans and sponges. In the afternoon we dive: 9 MANTA POINT or PINK BEACH and 10 NIGHT DIVE according customers wishes.   DAY 4:  KOMODO - RINCA Dive again at Batu Bolong. While enjoying a wonderful breakfast, we sail towards Rinca, relax and enjoy great views, let our crew pampering you while spotting dolphins, reading or sun bathing. 12 PULAU TENGAH (Little Batu Bolong), 3 hours “Dragon walk” to see the last representative of the Jurassic Park on earth, the infamous Komodo Lizard.   DAY 5: RINCA-BATU CERMIN-LABUAN BAJO- BALI After breakfast we have time for a guided tour to Batu Cermin Cave before you will be transferred to the airport for Bali flight.</div>

Very affordable and the best Liveaboard experience I've had so far. Friendly staff, really good food even for vegans. Diving was outstanding!!
